I have been personal training for over 2 decades. Certified as an ACE Personal Trainer I have worked in Toronto, NYC and Bobcaygeon at various health clubs, private homes and corporations. I even had a brush of fame training Faye Dunaway and working with Radu (he trains a lot of celebs including Cindy Crawford and Regis Philbin).

It’s never too late to change your habits. Doug realized one day in the spring of 2015 that it was time for a change. What prompted him was the picture on the left. He was too afraid to fully put his weight on Santa’s knee plus he wasn’t sleeping well, his back hurt & he was tired.
 
He and his wife signed up for Personal Training and Nutritional Coaching. They learned the proper way to perform movements that would melt fat from their bodies. They began changing what was on their plates and in their thoughts.
 
In 6 months he lost over 50lbs, 15% body fat and 10” from his waist. He has more energy, sleeps better and is eating more greens and loving it! And, the pain is his back is all gone! And his wife, Sue has also lost weight, inches, & body fat. She is loving making new healthier recipes and has more confidence.
  1. Holly started Group Training and Nutritional Coaching because she wanted to get her life back on track. Years ago she was at the weight that made her feel energetic, present, happy and healthy. Then a stress happened in her life and she forgot about herself. Over the years, she let healthy living take a back seat.

    She attended classes at Move Your Body Studio and wanted daily inspiration so she signed up for the Busy Mama Detox. The emails and the weekly material put her back in the driver's seat again. She feels blessed to be able to spend active time with her daughter skiing and playing. Her energy levels and mood are flying high. She's noticing what stresses her out, observing her behaviours, taking responsibility and making small changes that empower her.

    Although Holly wants the scale to move down faster, she has connected to her soul & she feels alive. She's trusting her decisions and healthy choices. Her actions are becoming unconscious habits instead of a conscious effort. Her thoughts are more positive.

Core Conditioning with Meditation

A combo of gentle Pilates, Yoga, Roller, Stretching and Postural work. The last 15 minutes are dedicated to more focused breathing and meditation, ending with a gentle head massage (can opt out). You are encouraged to work at your own pace and this class is extremely beneficial for anyone who has back, knee, hip, shoulder, etc. problems or for those that never want those problems
$18/class or $165 for 12 weeks

Gentle Yoga – Core with Meditation is an excellent “stretching, Yoga, Pilates combined” class. After every session my entire body is relaxed because it has been stretched and my core has been engaged. I love that Tanya focusses on posture, our hands and feet. Engage in real life functional movement patterns such as twisting, bending, pushing, & pulling executed in a FUN and creative way using balls, tea towels, weights and YOU. Core training, balance and flexibility are all included to create a total well rounded program. Your CORE is craving some Commotion!!

Muscle Mania - No cardio but the heart gets pumping with all sorts of weight exercises.

Ideal for anyone who wants to tone their muscles and have fun! A fun calorie burning weight lifting class that targets every single muscle to its fullest potential with special attention to postural alignment!  Excellent for any age and fitness level.

Bands, tubing, light and heavy weights, and balls are all used to mimic functional daily movements! Abs and stretching included.
The more muscle you have (instead of fat), the more calories you will burn all day. Remember, muscle tissue burns about 15 times as many calories as fat, even when you’re not exercising! Also, as we age, our muscles disappear so to keep your metabolic boost and your independence don’t miss out on this class!

Maximum fat and calorie burn using weights, balls, tea towels & anything that will get your heart pumping and your fat melting away! Jumping is minimal and optional.
Class examples – Melt the Fat, Inner Outer Chisel, Full Body Workout. It’s different every week because our bodies need variety.
